We’re all set for next year!
Weekly schedule prepared and learning wall updated – check.
Individual learning outcomes for Ben and Becks for 2014 – check.
Learning spaces organised, materials for next year researched, purchased and tested – check.
I’m a scary, kiasu mother, I know.
In other news, I’m taking a break from blogging for a while (except for some of my scheduled posts which you would be seeing – look out for the Airfryer one tomorrow!) because I’m off to saranghaeyo (drama)land where melodrama prevails and love always triumphs all.
Need.to.escape. before a new year begins!

Excuse me. The thing that jumps at me is not kiasuism… It’s you are super organized!!!! Applause!!
You completed the curriculum you bought for this year?
Can share which curriculum you chose for next year?
Thank you, stayathomemumof3! I think it’s part kiasu and part OCD, haha. I did a mishmash of stuff this year and had no fixed syllabus although I did share that I purchased the Hands On Homeschooling curriculum from the States. For next year, I’ve outlined key areas I need to work on with the kids, namely Literacy, Logic, Math and Chinese and would find suitable activities and resources to do with them from everywhere. We have on hand at home a few, such as the Grolier Logico system, reading rods, Early Learning Resources, etc so I would tap on these and tailor them according to the kids’ learning needs. 🙂
